Stepping back a change
Undo takes back your most recent change. You can:
- Press Cmd+Z on a Mac, or Ctrl+Z on Windows and Linux.
- Click the undo button in the controls at the bottom-right of the canvas.
A whole drag counts as a single step, so one undo takes you all the way back to before you started dragging.
Undo is personal
Undo steps back the changes that you made. Each person editing the document has their own short undo history of their last few steps, so undoing never reaches into someone else's work.
Your undo history is just for the current session and is cleared when you reload the page. Your document itself is saved as you go, so reloading never loses work.
What other people see
When you undo, the change is reversed for everyone on the document, just like any other edit.
Undo is not available to people who are only viewing the document.
When you have gone back too far, use Redo to put a change back.
