The floating Explorer panel is the compact side panel you meet inside the editor and the new-diagram flow. Where the full-page Explorer is the complete library, the panel is built for one job: finding a diagram fast while you are mid-task, without leaving the canvas you are on.
What the panel shows
The panel carries the same sections as the full page, trimmed to fit a side rail: your Recent diagrams up top for the common case, plus access to My Work, Shared with you, and Team Spaces when you need to reach further. Pick one and it opens straight away; the diagram you were in stays put behind it.
It is the same data as the full page, just a quicker door into it: folders, ownership, and sharing all behave identically, so anything you can open from the Explorer page you can open here too.
When you will see it
- In the editor, to jump to another diagram without going back to the library.
- In the new-diagram flow, to pick an existing diagram instead of starting blank.
Like everywhere else in the Explorer, the panel works whether or not you are signed in, showing the diagrams your browser or account owns.
