A decision record keeps what was decided, why, when, and whether it still stands, beside the thing it decided. It sits in the Keep a record group of the Collaborate category.
What is on the card
- The element's label is the decision itself ("Use D1 for durable storage").
- A status chip: Proposed, Accepted, Rejected or Superseded.
- A date, and the drivers that led to it.
All three are set from the element's menu, under Decision.
Superseding one
To show that one decision replaced another, draw an arrow between the two cards.
